Billing

Manage your subscription, track usage, and view invoices from the billing page.

Accessing Billing

  1. Click Settings in the sidebar
  2. Select Billing

Or use the workspace dropdown → Billing.

UserHero offers four pricing tiers:

What's Included

All paid plans include:

The only differences between paid plans are feedback limits and project limits.

Usage Tracking

The billing page shows your current usage:

Usage Alerts

You'll receive email alerts at:

  • 80% of your limit - Warning
  • 90% of your limit - Caution
  • 100% of your limit - Action needed

Overage Billing

When you exceed your monthly limit:

How Overage Works

  1. You exceed your plan limit
  2. Feedback continues to be collected
  3. Overage count is tracked
  4. At end of billing cycle, overage is charged:
    • Formula: ceil(overageFeedback / 1000) × $5
    • Example: 1,500 overage = $10

Upgrading

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click "Upgrade Plan"
  3. Select your new plan
  4. Complete payment
  5. New limits apply immediately

Proration

When upgrading mid-cycle:

  • You're charged the prorated difference
  • New limits apply immediately
  • Billing cycle date stays the same

Downgrading

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click "Change Plan"
  3. Select a lower plan
  4. Change takes effect at next billing cycle

Before downgrading, ensure your usage fits within the new plan's limits.

Cancellation

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  3. Confirm cancellation

After cancellation:

  • Access continues until end of billing period
  • Account reverts to Free plan
  • Data is retained (within Free limits)

Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Some regional payment methods

Update your payment method in BillingPayment Method.

Invoices

View and download invoices:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Scroll to Invoice History
  3. Click any invoice to download PDF

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I hit my limit?

Free plan: After 10% grace (110 feedback), new feedback is blocked. A message prompts users to try again later.

Paid plans: Feedback continues, and overage is billed at $5/1,000.

Can I get a refund?

We offer refunds within 14 days of initial purchase for annual plans. Contact hello@appsyogi.com.

Do unused feedback roll over?

No, feedback limits reset monthly and don't roll over.

Is there an enterprise plan?

Yes! Contact hello@appsyogi.com for custom pricing, SLAs, and dedicated support.
